The San Lino open pit is located only a few kilometers away from the famous locality of Berbes, and has produced a number of quality fluorite specimens such as this one. This single octahedron, free of matrix, displays beautiful color zoning of pleasing light blue and violet hues and, as shown in the photos, pops out even more with backlighting.
