Interlinked group of deep pink fluorite octahedra, with fibrous inclusions of green actinolite inside. Looking closer, one can see this cluster formed as a floater, free of contacts! While Huanggang briefly provided collectors with a more accessible alternative to the premium-priced alpine pink fluorites, production of such quality specimens has essentially ceased. Whether or not we see more of these specimens come out in the future, this one is special for its attractive form, floater formation, and the subtle touch added by the inclusions in the crystals.
