A large number of razor sharp brookites right on top of clear quartz, presenting in a super nice arrangement from multiple angles. On the display side the quartz is in excellent condition. Many of the brookites are chipped (brooken?) though the coverage more than makes up for it in my eyes.

More info:

Brookite specimens from the Kharan District occur within alpine-type fissures in metamorphosed sedimentary rocks. The mineralization develops through low-temperature hydrothermal processes, with brookite crystallizing from titanium-rich solutions at temperatures between 200-300°C. The crystals form after initial quartz precipitation, growing on prismatic quartz crystals within open cavities. Brookite displays characteristic tabular to pseudo-hexagonal habits, ranging from 0.5-3cm in size, with a distinct reddish-brown to black coloration. The specimens typically show sharp crystal faces with striated surfaces parallel to the c-axis. This paragenetic sequence represents hydrothermal remobilization of titanium during late-stage alpine-type vein formation, with brookite precipitation controlled by decreasing temperature and changing fluid chemistry.
